The scheme was formed in order to replace non star ACs with BEE 5 star labeled ACs .This scheme shall be valid for ACs either 1 TR or 1.5 TR. The non-star rating AC are the ones with no star label, grey market product and wattage.

2. What is the capacity of the AC offered under this scheme?

The capacity of AC available under this scheme is of 1 TR and 1.5 TR.

3. How many ACs can be availed under the scheme?

The consumers can replace any number of non-stared ACs as per their own requirement and desires.

4. What is the criterion for the old AC?

  • The old AC should be non-star rated.
  • It should be installed at consumer premises.
  • At the time of physical verification, the actual power consumption of replacement AC would be measured by OEM personal.

5. Is the scheme valid for industrial and commercial consumers?

The scheme is valid only for domestic consumers of the company.
